The Monthly Drop | Spring Dresses 2024
Welcome to my new series, The Monthly Drop. Each month I will be highlighting 5 pieces that I am loving and why I think they are a great addition to your wardrobe. This month’s highlight is all about Spring Dresses. Each pick is styled so you don’t have to spend time figuring out how to put it all together. If there is something specific you would love to see, just drop me a comment below and I will work on it.
THE MONTHLY DROP | SPRING DRESSES
This white dress is a classic silhouette that can take you from a casual daytime look to an evening look with just a few accessory changes. Opt for neutral accessories that can transition from one outfit to another. Denim jackets are a must. As someone who tends to run on the colder side, I always have a jacket or light cardigan with me for when restaurants, venues or shops run cold.

I don’t typically love wearing color or anything that enters a room before I do. Prints can be a fun way to add some character to a more neutral based wardrobe. Opt for patterns and prints that are subtle and have only a few colors or shades rather than several. Add a lady jacket or cardigan for cooler days or night with neutral accessories which will keep the attention on your gorgeous dress.

The shirring on the bodice of this dress is everything, gently squeezing you in without sacrificing your ability to breathe! Paired with neutral toned accessories and gold jewelry. Swap out the handbag for a raffia clutch for an easy evening look.

THE MONTHLY DROP | SPRING DRESSES
Navy is a color that just looks rich and elevated, and it’s a color that works for many skin tones. As I have gotten older, I prefer dresses that hit right at my knees or below. The button detail on this dress also gives you options from how deep you want the chest drop to how high you want the slit.

Here is another dress that can easily take you from a luncheon to a baby shower to a graduation party or other casual event. It is the perfect color combination to showcase a light tan (spray tan of course!) and can be styled with slides, sandals or even a wedge heel. The neutral accessories allow this sundress to truly be the star of your outfit. THe corset bodice gtive you total control for how tucked in you want to be.
