The Monthly Drop | June 2024
Welcome June and to my monthly drop! Warmer weather is here and so is my desire to wear all the skirts and dresses that I’ve been eyeing. My picks for this month are ones that are super versatile and would easily pair with things already in your closet. I typically only share pieces that you will get use out of in multiple ways. Otherwise, you end up with a closet filled with items that just sit and never worn. From full skirts to sandals, trousers and tops, I have it covered.
THE MONTHLY DROP | FULL SKIRT
These skirts offer a timeless silhouette that flatters a wide range of body types, providing a chic and feminine look. The added volume brings a sense of elegance and sophistication to any outfit, making it suitable for both casual and formal occasions.
Moreover, full skirts are incredibly versatile. They can be dressed up with heels and a blouse for a polished appearance or dressed down with a simple tee and sneakers for a more relaxed vibe. This versatility makes them a valuable addition to any wardrobe, offering multiple styling options with just one piece.
Additionally, full skirts often come in various fabrics, patterns, and colors, allowing for personal expression and creativity in styling. Whether you prefer a classic solid color, a playful print, or intricate details like pleats or embroidery, there’s a full skirt to match every taste and occasion.

THE MONTHLY DROP | SANDALS
I definitely tend to have more accessories than clothes. I love how shoes and belts and jewelry can completely transform an outfit. So it really is no surprise that my love for sandals made the drop this month. There are so many sandals to choose from; however, I have narrowed down my picks to share with you my most recent purchases for summertime sandals. From a neutral block heel to a beautiful leather slide to a strappy sandal for evening, these sandals will get a ton of play in your summer wardrobe. And in case you missed it, be sure to check out my Spring Shoe Edit showcasing all shoes I am loving for the warmer weather months.

THE MONTHLY DROP | TROUSER PANT
Trouser pants have been trending since Fall 2023 due to their polished and versatile look, making them perfect for both work wear looks and more casual settings. Their tailored fit offers a sleek silhouette that can easily be dressed up with a blouse and blazer for work, or dressed down with a casual tee and sneakers for a more relaxed outfit. Modern trouser pants prioritize comfort with stretchy fabrics and adjustable waistbands, ensuring all-day wearability.
Trouser pants are a smart choice because they offer a timeless style that remains fashionable year after year. With a variety of cuts, colors, and fabrics available, there’s a pair to suit every preference and body type. These pants provide a flattering fit, elongating the legs and creating a balanced silhouette, making them a versatile and chic addition to any wardrobe. One personal note, I am not a fan of linen. While it is a beautiful, natural fabric that is perfect for warm weather wear, I really dislike how easily it wrinkles, making me feel disheveled. So, I am only tagging one that gets rave reviews. The trouser pants that are on constant repeat in my closet are The Sloane as seen here. You can also watch the video for this look below here.

THE MONTHLY DROP | TOPS
I am loving anything striped lately. A stripe can take a boring tee and instantly elevate it to give it a bit more interest. The other trend that I am loving with tops is lace and eyelet, both can give an outfit an extra level of detail that just rounds out your outfit. And my absolute favorite, although I understand it isn’t for everyone, is the one shoulder top for spring and summer. There is something about a one-shoulder top that always gets my attention.
