Fashion + Style for Women Over 40

Vivaia Jade Slide Sandal

In my late 30s, my back started giving me problems and high heels were becoming less friendly. I was on a mission to find cute shoes that were stylish and comfortable. Fast forward to now, I am 50, and while I still want stylish footwear options, comfort is even more key. And in walked (pun intended) the Vivaia Jade Slide Sandal.

This sandal is the perfect compliment to your warm weather wardrobe. Offering a low 2′ heel, it’s a great heel height. Plus the inner sole is cushioned, providing great arch support, allowing for longer wear.

This outfit is a great wardrobe staple look with pieces that you will have on rotation, and you may even have some of these pieces already. Lady cardigans can easily be worn with jeans, over dresses, shorts or trousers. And a great pair of cream denim jeans is a solid color to own, as you will be able to mix and match most things, like these Vivaia Jade Slide Sandals.

Jeans are Frank & Eileen Monaghan. They are a light cream color with a button fly front and a cropped, raw hem edge. I wear these all year long. And you probably have figured out that lady cardigans are kinda my thing. This one is exceptional and well priced under $60.

My belt is designer but I have tagged a very similar look for less. And my raffia tote is a great, versatile bag that can go from every day style, to the beach, to a resort vacay. And it’s under $30.
