Classic Holiday Outfit | 2023

This classic holiday outfit screams cheer! The combination of red and black is always a personal favorite. We are seeing faux leather pants trending this season in all lengths and fits. Off-the-shoulder tops are a great way to keep it stylish but still classy. Paired with some bling for a pop of sparkle, you are ready to shine this holiday season.

Dressing up for the holidays can be exciting, especially when you opt for a classic holiday outfit. Picture this: a cozy sweater paired with tailored pants or a skirt, perhaps in festive colors like red, green, or gold.

Add some flair with accessories like statement jewelry or a chic scarf. For a timeless touch, consider a little black dress or a crisp white shirt with elegant trousers. Don’t forget comfortable yet stylish shoes to complete the look. Classic holiday attire is about embracing tradition while adding your personal style, ensuring you feel confident and festive all season long.

Wearing red can be tricky. But if you know how to pair it with your skin tone, you’ll love it! Opt for blue-based reds if you are fair-skinned and have pink undertones.  Dark skinned with more bronze or orange tones?  Choose an orange based red to compliment your skin tone.  Granted, this is just a suggestion, so feel free to do what works for you.  

And while I have paired this classic holiday outfit with a rhinestone mule, you can easily swap the mules for a strappy sandal or short boot with a skinny heel if that is more your style. Additionally, you could also swap the faux leather pants for a skirt if you want something a bit dressier.  A faux leather skirt with tights and tall boots would also be a great, modern look.

This classic holiday outfit aligns perfectly with my belief that classic style can still be modern and stylish, while making you feel like the dazzling star you are.
